What is AI for kids?
AI for kids, made safe and simple.
AI for kids means teaching young children, in a safe and age-appropriate way, what artificial intelligence is and how it works in everyday life. On HAILM, children in Grades 3 to 5 learn through stories, games and guided activities. There is no coding, no risk, and a strong focus on emotional safety.
Children at this age are naturally curious. HAILM turns that curiosity into early AI literacy, helping them recognise AI around them and use simple tools with adult guidance and care.

With AI and computational thinking becoming part of Indian schools from Class 3 (2026 to 27), HAILM gives children a safe, friendly head start that fits CBSE, ICSE and State boards.

What age is AI for Kids meant for?
It is designed for children in Grades 3 to 5, roughly ages 8 to 11.
Is it safe for young children?
Yes. The environment is closed and guided, with no open chat or unsafe links, and content is created by child-learning experts.
Does my child need to know coding?
No. Everything is no-code. Children learn through stories, games and simple activities.
Is it really free?
Yes. AI for Kids on HAILM is completely free for Level 1/ Foundation Course Certification. Level 2 and Level 3 - State Level Olympiad and National Level Olympiad is paid but optional. State Level Olympiad: August 31 and/or September 27, 2026. National Level Olympiad: October 18, 2026. Awards Ceremony: November 21, 2026 in Delhi.
How much time does it take?
Lessons are short and self-paced, so children can learn in small, comfortable sessions.
Does it match what schools are teaching?
Yes. It aligns with NEP 2020 and the new AI from Class 3 direction, and acts as a foundation course to CBSE, ICSE and State boards.
